controller won't connect to PC?

my controllor will not connect to my pc its says usb device not recognized
and i go to turn on the controller by the guide button but it wont turn on

take the batteries out.....hold start....plug the PnC cable....

Go to microsoft's website, type .NET framework in the search bar, and pick the highest number... It's to atleast 4 now. I assume you've installed the viking software too right?

If you press the guide button and the controller doesn't turn on, it sounds broke to me. Time to open a support ticket.

Unless this is a Thor's Hammer, Tyr's Hand or Odin's Raven, in which case you're out of warranty as those haven't been sold for awhile.

well i hold the guide button it turns on but no leds turn on i can still use it but no leds or mods
