We have six different cosmetically damaged controllers sitting in our shop. What's wrong with them? Generally, the paint got flaked and chipped around the tac switches when the holes for the tac switches were drilled, or there may be paint missing from the battery pack cover, or a scratch or a chip of paint missing on the backside of the controller. We can't sell these at full price as new. These controllers are 100% functional macro controllers, and carry the same 90-day warranty as our other products (with the exception of the cosmetic defects of course). This is a great way to get into a macro controller and save a few dollars, if you aren't bothered by the cosmetic defects.
