How Will The Macro Library Work?

I am wondering how exactly the uploading of macros on to the Macro Library is going to work. I know that you can upload, share and download macros with other users. I feel like we are going to see the same macros uploaded a bunch of different times. How about reporting macros that don't work. I also hope the library is well categorized that way we don't see all macros just for MW2/Blackops. I myself plan on making/testing/uploading macros for all the top fighting games like Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul Caliber, Mortal Kombat, just to name a few. Games that aren't necessarily in the fighting genre but games that also use combinations like Fight Night Round 4, Prince of Persia: TFS, Ninja Gaiden 2, Devil May Cry 4, Star Ocean, Infinite Undiscovery (any RPG game that uses a real time battle system), these are just to name a few. I would hate for someone to just download my macros, change the name of the author to theirs and upload it as their own. It's simple/fast to make macros for games like MW2 but it is much more advance and time consuming when it comes to these other games that depend on combinations.

It will proabbly get moderated to ensure the same macro isn't uploaded twice & nothing bad gets uploaded etc.. but we will just have to wait and see :)

It will definitely be a work in progress, we are at least trying to institute a rating system and also a 'staff preferred' system to weed out the best of the best, beyond that it may initially look like a dogpile of macros until we make a couple of improvements to the handling of the uploads.

Since most of the macros will be created by us (the users) I think the best solution would be to allow the users to vote, or rate each macro created. Some people with extra time on there hands will have to do some thorough testing. When we find out which macro works the best, post it on the main page. I suggest creating a section in the forum FOR ONLY macro testing to avoid this massive dog-pile lol.
