If my controller were dropped is it covered by warrenty?

I am curious. My left analog is acting Funny. I dont remember dropping it but it couldve been without me knowing.

physical damage is not covered under warranty.

Covered: defects in modchip, modchip wiring, and manufacturer's defect in the wireless controller

Not covered: wear n' tear, soda spills, popcorn and other junk, broken bumpers from controller getting slammed on the coffee table when you lose a game, etc.
