I was thinking about getting the Astro A40s but looking around, I'd much rather have the Turtle Beach PX5, I usually don't like Turtle Beach's, but you can program these! Just like a Macro controller, you can upgrade from your pc! It's 7.1, the same as Astros, I'm 90% it has a mixamp, but I know for sure you can change your sound modes from the headset (Buttons). you can make it so you can't hear breathing into the microphone, or someones background music. Also if they're talking through their kinect, you can make it so you cant hear their game! You can put multiple modes on your headset, just like a macro controller (Pages). And now game developers are starting to release certain modes designed SPECIFICALLY for their game, like the game company Visceral, the makers of Dead Space 2 (scary game that had made me yell out a few times) made their own mode to make their game sound scarier and creepier! Also, it's the same price, and you can get them in stores, so no shipping cost. Only downside? Not out yet. Release is supposed to be VERY soon.

I admit, I used to hate them, but they took a huge step in the right direction with this one.

If astros took this idea/technology, everyone would be all over them. No other headset in that pricerange would have a chance.

Astros > Turtle Beaches > Trittons, honestly that is my opinion. I didn't like the Trittons.

I love my Turtle Beach's. I know other people don't like them because the players on MLG don't use them. but what you guys need to remember is that astro sponsor MLG that's the only reason why they use them. And as far as customer service I have never had a problem.

I never had to call. sending them an email was all it took for me. But I'm sure it's different for everyone. If you're Turtle beach's didn't work out of the box why not just take them back where you bought them and get new ones?
