Well its always good to have a spare but I don't think you need a new macro controller ... ask odingalt.

As long as you don't completely destroy the one you have or something... You can get say the analog sticks replaced for around $70 I think if that's necessary (Fredrow), but that's really the only thing that goes on a well treated controller.
