no led's on/ wont connect

okay so i have never had a problem till now. there are no led's when i cut the controller on i can still play but there are never led's on. so im guessing this is why i cant connect it to the laptop. please help me guys.

Put in a fresh pair of Double A batteries that worked for me

when i plug it in my comp, and hold down start it flashes the green colors like its cutting on.

press the start button b4 u plug into the computer and when that happens the player 2 and 4 lights should light up then you should plug into the computer and the led's should start to rapidly start flashing

Yep! You are doing something incorrect. Watch and follow the steps on the video.

i figured it out. i was plugging it in, then holding down start. thanks anyways.
