Old Viking chip PNC to sync?

I have the first chip with the old usb key to sync I know I can change it to a 3.5 mini plug. But can I make it so I use the PNC cable to sync the controller?

Yeah you can change it yourself - I'm pretty sure the very very first chip is compatible with the PnC D+ & D- (need to confirm this). It's just a matter of removing the USB key stuff and just wiring the D+ from the chip to the D+ on the controller and the same with the D-.

However this will leave you with a hole where the USB key bit used to be..

Does anyone have a drawing of the old old chip showing which point is D+ and which is D-? Because the old chips I don't think had the points labeled in white text on the modchip...
