Theory 1:
My guess is that it is new, and they don't have as many as the black one, therefore less of a bulk buy = more $ for the silver than the black...
Say they buy 50 silvers
Say they buy 200 blacks
Black = cheaper
Silver = more expensive

I think they assume not as many people are going to buy the silver, but that is just my two cents, but personally I think the silver is WAY cooler.

Theory 2:
It was a mistake, and will be fixed shortly.

I don't know personally. Wait for an answer from odingalt.

Just trowing it out there,and i might be wrong but i read on here that you bring the bestest mods for the lowest prices..Not to make the most money on something that is equal..:(

Dude, he could charge $100 more for the viking and it would still own some other places (I'm looking at you Evil...) in both prices and features. Be happy he's not so money hungry he charges throught the roof like some of them...

I don't have a good defense argument for the pricing. If we had white shells (and if Microsoft had not discontinued them) we'd actually sell them cheaper than the black ones even though they also cost the same at the store after needing to buy the PnC pack and cable separately. It's gimmicky pricing.

The custom painted shells I do have a good argument since it costs extra to buy, disassemble and ship all the shells off for the custom paint work.

Well yea like odin i totally understand why custom shells are more becuase the of the cost to get it painted and time and stuff but i was just kinda,well i guess shocked because i want the silver but my limit is 200$ :( I already have a black odin and black tyrs hammer.I just want the newest thing :(
