So is the Viking controller on sale the same Viking controller from before?

I see that the Macro controller is on sale again, which is great! But even after poking around on the forums, I'm curious if there is anything different about this batch from the first run of the macro controllers? I remember reading about how the parts were unavailable before, which made it not possible to create more. But obviously its back on sale again under the same name. I am planning on picking up a second one just in case my first one quits on me.

Hi.....just done that for the same reason, and yes, they are exactly the same....in fact,I loaded my set from my older one to the new one and I wouldn't know which one I was using other than the colour difference.....

Just as Walker suggested it is exactly the same nothing different. Its awesome to see them back on the website.

We were able to work out getting more of the components, plus Microsoft switched back quickly from the matrix2 circuit boards to the Cg2 circuit boards again.
