That looks pretty nice from what I can see. If I had the money to invest in something like that I so would.

Holy jesus SinneR, that is unnecessarily powerful. To run maxed out settings on those games you would need a good computer but that is a TANK!
You'd be better off buying all the parts and building it yourself and if you can't then find a WAY CHEAPER one. You could get away with spending around 1000 quid and it would still be powerful enough to run games full setting AND then some.

ith that you could run games max or near max settings! IF ever needed you could always upgrade. Trust me this would be plenty!

Laptops are just not a good investment. Who really travels anywhere to play on a laptop anymore? Also if you spent that much on a desktop, you would be sure to see some of your investment back because you can part out the system. Laptops are like consoles, they are good for a short period of time, then they are rendered obsolete.

Stay away from "Gaming" laptops, they're always bulky and heavy, with bad battery life, but there are some exceptions ie; Razer Switchblade. (the Switchblade is severely overpriced, though)

I'll build a general gaming PC, that will run 60 frames on Battlefield 3, which is a pretty hard thing to do, considering most top of the line cards can't even reach 100 fps.

GTX 580.

r, get an i5, which is very good too, but try to stay away from AMD's bulldozer, the i5 will outperform it in gaming. (I'm not an intel fanboy, I'm actually using AMD right now.)

RAM:

(
4x2 GB RAM)

You could get 16 GB of RAM, the more the better, generally.

nd a case, but that's up to you.

Also, these are all Canadian sites.

You can also get a soundcard, just for the extra boost.

wow that's a lot for a gaming laptop, i don't see going over $2,500. but thats your choice, im going now for the first part of my comptia a+ exam and as iv learned in school generally with gaming laptops they run hotter, this is just my personal opinion. if it was me and i was dead set on spending $5000 i would build a killer desktop for under $2000 and buy a laptop for around $2000
