Turtle Beach XP500?

Lately my turtle beach x41's has been a b**** to work and I'm trying to decide. Should I spend $55 to fix the headset or should I wait it out and buy the soon to come out XP500's?

I personally would go with the astros i have a pair of wired ones and they now have mostly wireless ones and i wish i had them very bad. I love my astros and ive never had them break or anything however ive had turtles and they broke in like 6 months
