No i was just making sure it was legit since the website does not sell it.

the site dont sell mod chips due to the customer service of the site. if you buy a controller, the site will waranty it and repair it if needed. but if this same service was provided for the DIY kits, viking would be bankrupt due to the masive amounts of failed diy installs. the diy chip is the same chip in any controller you buy from here. the only difference is what you do with it. its a 15 wire install, involving soldering to vias and some hard to reach tp points.
