A person that makes the codes for the rapid fire chips, most chips from kits already come pre coded.

Well, open source codes are codes that is free to public domain, anyone can use them and are free to distribute. Coding can be very complicated with many languages that are used in it. Programmers know a lot about more about different codes and some can be hired to make open source codes for the chips.

idk, he makes all sorts of mods and probably knows some things about programming. ask him

Technically, you could buy and install an Intensafire and then use their 'debug' port along with a 'pickit v2' programmer to reprogram it. Now I think you'd have to program it before installing it.. without looking at it more closely I'm not sure if you can program their chip while it's 'in circuit' - in other words not sure if you can update the code using their debug port after you've soldered it into your controller.
