What does the erase device do? And everyone keeps saying something about this MW2 driver, where can i down load it, and how can i get my custome hex's to program to my controller? Its like the only ones that work are the preset ones like "the works" and the "all in one". And someone also said something about DL the old bootloader and check the allow word programming and then DL the new bootloader and open hex, program, and then reboot. Which one is old and which one is new?

The new one comes with the preset editor. The old on is what you get when you download the already made presets. Erase device is just wiping the chip.
