Whats the purpose of Button Test?

When you install the chip you run that to make sure that all buttons that are connected to the chip are working properly ..this driver is only nessisary if you have a malfuction and need to diagnose it...or if you do a DIY or your Ben,fredrow,Blackburn,or odingalt
