All that did was send a stable power source to the controller. So it wasn't the same as having an actually wired controller.

I have been taking my rumble motors out of controllers since back in the days of playing PS2...lol... I like the lighter feel of the controller without the rumble motos in it and also because I seem to be able to aim better without the motors in the controller.

Using a wireless controller with the charge cable is not the same as a wired-controller.

First time using it, I wasn't very excited about it so I just tossed it in a drawer for a long time. Then one weekend I cleaned up my work area and found the controller, so I gave it another try and still wasn't super shocked/excited over it but I like it more than the first time I used it. But...

Sounds like the same storm we had made its way towards you!!! Washington State issued a 'State of Emergency' in the greater Seattle area and all the burbs around Seattle there were 280,000 places that lost they're power. My power went out twice!!! LOL..... Woke-up Thursday at 6am to no power...

I use to be the same way but you do notice that a wired controller does have a quicker response time! When shooting someone it just feels quicker than compared to a wireless controller.

Another thing I wanna add to this for people that may not know this already; if you spill liquid on any ELEC device "TURN IT OFF, ASAP" doing this might just save you from total destruction.....

You know that is what I kinda figured too but during the interview they were pretty impressed about the modded controller work but they also made it clear that they will not be working so much with the controllers and the job will focus way more on working with the consoles....
