True im thinking ima get a blackMagic pro. xPNEpatsNE1 said:get a PVR. i like the color correction though.
Thanx i think The BlackMagic Pro Would probably be the best 4 me i h8t playing on a crappy quality when i spent the Cash on a HD TV :/ and lets face it The software that comes with cap cards relay is unreliably at best lol but i guess nothing is perfect right ?? lolodingalt said:I have that card and it's still probably the best "budget" HD card, just be aware that it does NOT record tru 1080P throug the HDMI. It can only record 1080I through the HDMI. However, 1080i through an HDMI connection is still better quality than 1080i through component cables. If you watch any of the viking360 videos on http://www.youtube.com/dakotakid12345 anything that is HD was captured using black magic intensity pro.
The software is frustrating at best. Someday I intend on upgrading to a better card but I can only really justify that as part of the business. If I were just purchasing a capture card for myself I would stick with intensity pro or look hard at a hauppauge (spelling?)
you need to set your xbox to 720p and use component cables.xxVIKINGxx said:Hey I have a problem with the setup of my HD PVR I got it recording but I can only get my xbox to come up on my Tv on 480p. Even when I put the component plugs on the 1080i/720p on the back of the tv. I know it's not the PVR because I triede it without the pvr and it did the same thing and I tried all the video settings 1 through 7. The 1080p works when I use a HDMI cable but the PVR does'nt have a port for that. So I was hoping someone had any clue on what it could be, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

S-Video and component DO NOT do 1080p the only medium that actually does 1080p is HDMI. thats a fact.GJUnLeAsHeD said:
360 cant naturally do 1080p like the ps3 can. the 360 can take 720p and UPSCALE it to 1080p. so yes there is no true way to get full 1080p on the 360PS3andCOD said:I didn't think the 360 could do 180p at all? Or has that changed? Not all games can do 1080p on PS3 either... Some are 720p only.
im getting 1080p on youtube so im not quite sure what ur talking about ??NEpatsNE1 said:S-Video and component DO NOT do 1080p the only medium that actually does 1080p is HDMI. thats a fact.GJUnLeAsHeD said:
you are 1000% correct.WetterThanWater said:It upscales.
Its like expanding a pixel
Like a pixel is 1x1, it blows it up by 1.5x If I'm correct. ALL xbox gaming video is natively in 720p at highest settings and you can record that in any pixel resolution, but you can put a 720p video on youtube and make it expand itself to 1080p.
If im wrong. Ignore this.
ok fine i dont understand a word of this stuff lol but ill take your word on it lolNEpatsNE1 said:you are 1000% correct.WetterThanWater said:It upscales.
