pull batteries.
hold down sync button (or right tac if you own the Raven).
keep holding it down.
put batteries in (still holding it down)
power up controller (still holding it down)
Ok now plug your computer in, should recognize it. If not, try another computer, and/or be sure you have .net framework installed.
