Have you gone to your router / modem / wireless router and turned it off and then back on?

Have you tried unplugging your Ethernet cable / wireless-enabling peripheral and plugging it back in?

On Xbox, CPU, And the router / modem?

Have you tried unplugging your xbox 360 and replugging it in?

Have you tried unplugging everything from your xbox 360 and replugging it in?

Have you restarted your computer?

Yes I Have Done All Of THAT AND My Connection Is Still S###.

You have done EVERYTHING I have said, all of it, and your connection still is not working as well as it did before? Are you sure there isn't bad weather or your ISP is just slow today?

try plugging your xbox directly into your MODEM(not router) through CAT5(Ethernet cable)

Yes but then nothing else can use anything. This is not very useable... no more Wi-Fi or CPU access since nothing else can be plugged in. I'm sure this can work, but isn't good for 99% of people. Again jayjoes make sure you tried everything I said.

Do you have an Ethernet or wireless connection?

I recommend amazon... here is a link to a 50 ft ethernet cable.
http://www.amazon.com/RiteAV-Cat5e-Netw ... 960&sr=8-1

Just search on amazon for one. They are so much cheaper and better on amazon.

The reason it is slow is because there is probably interference and the wireless is too far away from your modem. If you have an access point or "hub" move it closer to your xbox instead of making a wired connection. But in all cases a wired connection will be faster.

My friend had the same issue.
1) make sure your firewall is not blocking your console.

2)Do you have a open, moderate, or strict NAT type? (Edited)

3)On your router home page check your DNS settings, that could be blocking it as well.

If you don't know how to acess your routers home page, type in the url/ip thingy into your URL.

(ex. Linksys is 192.169.1.1)

Good luck

If your going to buy an ethernet cable, you might as well get yourself a cat-6 over a cat-5 cable.

But I'm guessing this bad 'connection problem' will pass with time. If you have only had this problem for a week, then wait a couple days and see if it goes back to normal.

I had a similar problem but only lasted about 4 days and my friend who lives in Denver had the same thing too....

This is usually never a xbox live issue unless there are having problems on there side. It's most likely your ISP or you need to make sure your nat is open. Even if you go too a wired connection you will need to have a open nat so you don't kicked and also so you can get connected with friends. Check your routers manual you will connect to the settings using your computer or laptop by typing the address to your router in your browser. There you might have an option to open your nat and open the ports that they suggest also look for a Universal Plug And Play (UPnP) option in your settings. Let us know what type of router you're using maybe we can help you connect to it.
